Though we are no longer breeding goldendoodles we hope the words of past friends will encourage you of our dedication to our dogs.
Dear Amy,
Hopefully you have received the batch of pictures I just sent of me and Kramer.
I wanted to let you know what a great dog he has been. He has been a therapy dog the last 3 years and has brought so much joy, comfort and love to many seniors. He has visited in the skilled nursing and memory care area of our local senior center. Before that, for many years he was a pal to many of the elderly folks where my Dad resided and they adored him.
I am getting very weepy because I know that he is getting closer to the end of his life. I can't tell you how much I love this dog and how good he has been to me and my family. He has been my loyal friend I am crying as I am writing this to you... It is very hard for me to face the day he no longer will be with us and I have never felt this strongly about any other dogs that we have had.
I've been wanting to send you some pictures of Brule' since he is now past his 2nd birthday, but time has gotten away from me! We absolutely love him...he always greets us or visitors with a toy or blanket in his mouth. He is also a beautiful pet therapy dog...the patients at the hospital love and most everywhere I go, they want to know what kind of dog he is...I just say, he is the best ever!
You are probably getting tired of hearing from me, but Tess is the absolute best puppy in the world! She is incredibly smart, funny, obedient, naughty -- everything we wanted. No one can believe she is four months old. She is amazingly well behaved and loves to learn. I sometimes think we aren't giving her enough to learn. She seems like she could be a seeing eye dog or a search and rescue dog or some kind of hard core therapy dog. She learns things in a minute it seems. She's also become brave and bossy as a little lion with other dogs! She waps the big ones with her paws to make them play with her and when they body block her over, she jumps up and waps them some
more! She is also sweet as sugar with small children. We thank our lucky stars and you every day for her.
Maisy is two and a half years old and was recently accepted into the Animal Assisted Therapy Program at Northwest Community Hospital. She loves visiting patients there and bringing smiles to their faces. She is so smart and such a great dog. We couldn't be happier with her. We also taught her how to retrieve the newspaper from the driveway. Thanks again for such a wonderful dog. We love her.
...We learned quickly that she is a water dog, much to Brett’s delight. She loved going swimming and was wonderful to have on the boat (equipped with her pink life vest). Whether we were in Franklin or out at the lake, Addy Belle was always our faithful companion. We couldn’t ask for a sweeter girl with the most loving eyes!
We have found her to be calm and feel incredibly fortunate to have never gone through a tough puppy phase destroying things. She knows commands well and has maintained that “observe first, then react” behavior.
In short, I count my blessings every day for such an amazing dog! She definitely is a bright spot in my world and I love her dearly.
All in all, we are still thrilled daily by our little bundle of joy! She is the best, most calm, easiest to train and cuddliest puppy that we’ve ever had. Even at 23 lbs she still likes being carried around like a baby.
When I first contacted you about getting a doodle, you asked me all kinds of questions about what kind of dog I wanted, Classic/English, boy/girl, curly/straight, dark/light and I really didn't have good answers for you because all we really wanted was a dog to love...and that is just what you, Flurry and Nikke gave us! We all LOVE Reggie to PIECES!!!!!
Reggie is already locked in our hearts! He is SUCH a GOOD puppy!!! And such a lover...he must lick everyone he meets, he has to be touching you or snuggling in your lap when it is relaxing time, and he will definitely not stand for two of "his" family members to sit next to each other...he has to be sandwiched in the middle. He's so sweet and cuddly!
Amy...you really gave us more than we ever could have asked for with Reggie. After our 13 year old Lab Leroy passed away, I always carried a little bit of sadness around with me, and Reggie has taken so much of that sadness away...he has given me my happiness back, and I thank you for helping with that. We will keep you updated as Reggie grows, and thank you again for all your wonderful care, time and commitment to giving families beautiful, healthy, happy puppies!
